Steve is a former GB Olympic and Commonwealth Swimmer, competing at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Having represented his country for an incredible 15-year career filled with sacrifice, success and controversy, Steve retired from the sport in 2002 and now runs Sports Abroad, a successful sports travel business.
We talk through competing in a high-pressure environment in one of the toughest sports, the Olympic experience, and overcoming the disappointment of being controversially left out of his home Commonwealth Games to end his career.
